5 Ways How I Optimize My Twitter Account

This time, I will share how my way to optimize my twitter. As you may already aware, that I just a new user in twitter as i tell in my blog in new year article. I create my twitter account so I can gain some benefits from it. There are many great bloggers said that twitter is the best social media network regrading to traffic source. Of course, it is needed many followers before I can gain some benefit from it. Therefore, I optimize my twitter so I can get many followers. Here four things that I do to optimize my new twitter account:

Using Hootsuite

I am using Hootsuite to automate twitter message each time I post new article in my blog. I choose Hootsuite instead install some WordPress plugin because of performance reason. More plugin more performance degradation, right? So, I try to not use plugin if possible. And Hootsuite work base on web and blog RSS feed so it is surely do not degrade the blog performance. And Hootsuite surely make sure that my twitter followers will get newest update directly each time I post new article. Hootsuite also make easier to track each conversation in twitter which is really hard if we do it directly in twitter – especially if you following so many people. Indeed, Hootsuite is a great tools to manage our twitter content so we can optimize it best.

Add Tweetmeme Button

I add it so the blog readers can easily share each post of my blog’s article in twitter by retweet it. I like to put twetmeme button eventough i already had twitter sharing link by using “add to any” plugin because the retweet button seems more feasible and attractive for readers because the position and also the number of retweet. People seems like the number – and tend to increase it when posible. At least, that what I feel when see article with retweet button in above part of article. I use Digg Digg WordPress plugin for it. Digg Digg is the best choice available this time to add tweetmeme button in my opinion.

Put Follow Me On Twitter Banner

It is a must do for blogger if want to increase targeted followers. It make blog readers know that we have an twitter account in where we will share thing related to our blog. And surely, this banner is easier the readers to follow our twitter. It is because they only need to click it and follow us, as simple as that. Simplifying thing always great in term of blogging because the time of our readers is limited.

Follow Others Blogger’s Twitter Account

This strategy is to increase our followers number. Almost all bloggers will follow you back if you follow them. And do not to follow back each time follow you, it is to appreaciate them. If posible, send thanks word trough direct message each time someone follow you in twitter. To get best result from this strategy, you should choose to follow twitter account which have following and follower in same number. The same number of following and follower mean that owner of that twitter account will follow back each follower.
This strategy is like “u follow i follow” thing indeed – i borrow it from dofollow tag”u comment i follow”.

Put Twitter Account in Guest Blogging Bio

As you may already aware that Guest Blogging is one of very beneficial blog marketing strategy. Bloggers surely can get so many benefit from guest blogging in high traffic and reputable blog like this DragonBloggers.com. I share some of the benefits from guest blogging in 6 benefits of guest blogging article but it seems that i forget to mention another benefit in that article. Yeah, guest blogging also can exposure our twitter account by put our twitter account link in our guest blogging bio. It is surely improve our twitter follower – especially if we write a great article in that guest blogging. Believe me, i experienced it – and hope experience it again with this guest blogging.

The above five ways surely can make your twitter account growth and eventually you can get benefit from your twitter account. As i said, twitter is all about number – number of your follower indeed. There is no point of a twitter account if there is no follower. Therefore, each twitters should optimize their twitter regarding to follower and hope the tips in this article can help you to do it perfectly.
