Blog Earnings For March 2009
Many fellow bloggers like to see how my blog generates income and what earnings and from what sources my earnings come from, as not just a technology and entertainment blog but a blog thats designed to help other bloggers get the most from their blog this includes how to earn some money with your blog so it can at least pay for itself and maybe some extras.
Here are some items I have bought in March with my blog money:
Boom Blox for Nintendo Wii
Wireless Wii Nunchuck
Took family out to dinner at a few restaurants
It is nice that my side job working at night and weekends and I actually have some nice tangible things to show for it that don’t count against my normal day job budget and income.
My most successful earning for March came from PayU2Blog which was more than normal after my PR2 blog was added which started stealing all the assignments from my other blog toward the latter part of the month.
BlogToProfit was my second most profitable and this was the first month I have ever used the service, I had done 6 paid posts between 2 of my blogs and earned $39 from them total.
PayPerPost didn’t earn my anything for March, there were many $2 and $4 opps I could have taken, but I won’t accept any opp less than $5 and I won’t take any opps that don’t match my blog theme or aren’t products I am comfortable with endorsing.
SocialSpark only had one opp that fit my blog topic and genre, and I earned $5 for that one.
Lastly, ADSense earned me a combined income off $18.19 from all my blogs combined from March 1st through 31st, which is nice to know that it actually collects my 3rd highest amount per month. Adgitize steadily now has grossed me <$3 for the past few months and I am up to about $5, they pay out at $10 and I will ride it out until my first payout, but probably drop the network if it doesn’t pick up.
I should point out that March was the first month ever that a company contact me directly and paid me to do a review of their site, this tells me that Dragonblogger is growing if I am starting to get direct contacts about advertisements and reviews now.
I love to hear from fellow bloggers on what success stories you have, I have had no luck at all trying to CPC with Neverblue, CommissionJunction on any of my blogs, even with targeted posts and ads, so that just doesn’t work well for me at this time. I would like to know how my fellow bloggers fare out there and if you are successful, happy with your earnings and which companies work best for you.
