BlogEngage which is a popular blog social website announced they are switching to an invitation only registration system.  You no longer can just hit the site and register and must be invited by another member in order to be allowed to register.

This means you can look to get an invitation by one of the two methods below:

1. Join the BlogEngage Blog Forums and request an invitation by posting.
2. Know a friend on the inside. All members have the opportunity to send you an invitation.

I have been using BlogEngage for a long time now and recommend it to bloggers as you will get articles noticed and meet a nice network of bloggers.  BlogEngage is growing extremely rapidly but small enough that your submitted articles have a greater chance of getting noticed than submitting to Digg, StumbleUpon and the other gargantuan Networking Sites.
