If you are a serious blogger then you should have a business card to help promote your blog as a good old fashioned marketing tool. You also should take your business card design very seriously as a good looking and professional business card can draw somebody’s eye and attention to your card.

When I get my DragonBlogger.com business cards created I intend to use my Dragon Logo on a black background, with embossed text, but I haven’t decided on text color or font style yet. I will have my primary blog URL address listed as well as information for contacting and advertising. Remember you probably want to leave not only the URL of your blog but how your customer can contact you about advertising or for more information.

Vista Print is actually one of the better companies I have used for creating custom business cards, calenders or other marketing media. They have a very easy to use interface, you can upload your photo, preview everything and have some of the best pricing plans on the web. Once you have a business card created from Vista Print for your blog, you can then use it as mini promotions.

Drop them off at local restaurants and stores, do a small review of their business on your blog and hand them a business card and mention for them to check out your review. You can also leave them in the jar or collection bowls at restaurants to win a free lunch or whatnot, this will get someone to look at them and if it catches their eye maybe they will remember or keep it to look at your site later.

At clubs or bars, you can leave an occasional one on a coffee table or bar just to pick up some stranger who may find it interesting. Don’t underestimate the power of a good business card, old fashioned advertising works for bloggers if you leverage it right.
