Earn Money Visiting Local Businesses with WeReward

The creative minds behind IZEA who have been creating services to bring advertisers and bloggers (or Twitter users) together for years have released a new service known as WeReward. WeReward.com is a mobile application which is currently available for your iPhone that allows you to earn points for visiting locations or performing tasks. Each point is worth 1 cent and you can cash out these points into Paypal deposits and earnings.
The application integrates with your Twitter, FaceBook and Foursquare accounts and leverages your existing social networks so you don’t have to build a following on a new social network. You basically can find advertisers and companies in your area that offer “rewards” for checking in at their locations. This can help people decide between one restaurant or another, and helps advertisers as they get promotion and advertising as a result of people taking advantage of the rewards.
An example of such check in would be getting 200 points to go have dinner at a specific Pizza place, and sending a message on FourSquare or Twitter when you check in there.
The program offers other rewards for just performing tasks, these can be assignments that don’t involve going to a specific place or location and an example would be just taking and uploading a picture of yourself drinking a specific advertiser product on FaceBook.

If you own an iPhone go ahead and give WeReward a try and Download the App today to your iPhone and start earning points by visiting the places you would normally visit anyway.
I just hope they start offering a version of the application for Blackberry and Android phones to extend the service to other users besides people who only have an iPhone. As a result this is the only IZEA service that I am unable to take advantage of at this time.

This is an interesting program that I have never heard of. It is good that there are so many unique apps and such for the iphone. It would be nice though if there was a standard system where all apps could work with android, blackberry, etc.
