Really sorry to hear that, did you open support request? They claim to have 1 day turnaround time > http://www.costcaptain.com/help.htm if you haven’t, then perhaps calling your credit card and stopping the payment or blocking it may help. They should respond and clear this up though, shouldn’t charge if product is out of stock.

I am very MAD at this costcaptain.com for not warning me that Leappads products are out of stock. I am POOR and I spent $300 on two leappads and they didnt even warn me. Now I have NO money to get gifts for my children. When I cancel the orders, it didnt even return money bk in my acct. It is NOT okay for them to take my money out when leappads are out of stock? I am PISSED off.

@Annoyed In all fairness, they ship regular USPS for the 3-5 day shipping ,it is an estimate without a tracking number and given the fact that it is this time a year, I would expect a delay in all packages not sent 2nd day Fed-Ex or UPS to possibly be delayed. As far as not having a phone number for support, I would be wary of a place selling software without any phone support at all. That doesn’t mean they did anything wrong, right now you are complaining about it not arriving in 5 days as you expected, but do you have confirmation of fraud? They probably are just a reseller or affiliate site that places orders from another site to deliver.

“****BUYER BEWARE***** I ordered $1,300 in product from Costcaptain & paid for 3-5 day shipping. Today is day 5 no items. No phone number on website- I end up finding a number that is clearly someone’s cell phone. I emailed the customer service & customer service told me that they have no idea when my items will come in from the manufacturer. So basically, they are selling items they don’t have! I was so mad! I am now disputing the charge with my credit card company. In doing more research I found out that this is a one many job- no a whole company, just some shady guy. If you don’t want a fraud nightmare with your credit card company, trust your gut instincts, wish I had. If it’s too good to be true: it is! Lesson learned! “
