In researching my memory stick and CPU information I realize I built my computer over 2 years ago and I did not remember the Motherboard model, CPU specifications or the Memory brand and settings.  I searched on google and found a wonderful freeware utility called CPU-Z.

This program will analyze your hardware and display you the exact information on your CPU, Motherboard and Memory.
I was able to use this information to find out my mother board, and find the Qualified Vendors List so I can buy RAM sticks to match my existing RAM vendor.

Here are screenshots of the application:

My CPU:

My Motherboard:

My 1GB RAM:
cpuz 3 CPU Z: Find out detailed hardware system information about your computer

This application is very light weight, it downloads and once unzipped you just run the .exe right from the folder you unzipped it.  The application CPU-Z doesn’t need to install itself.  It takes a moment for it to analyze your system and then you are instantly presented with the first tab.

I highly recommend anyone to try out this little program CPU-Z if you need to know stats about your CPU, Motherboard or Memory, it is pretty neat little freeware program.
