Be Creative and Buy a Unique Gift for Someone that is Out Of This World
Posted by: dragonblogger // Category: ConsumerismYou know it is funny how much I try to original sometimes, in trying to keep my passion and marriage alive for almost 10 years now I have done some unique things to be creative and put energy and thought into my marriage. Like buying custom M&M’s for my wife, or I did name a star after her with the International Star Registry.
Another unique idea is to buy buy the moon or at least a piece of real estate on it. Lunar International is a company that is recognized in legitimately holding lunar real estate. It is sold in parcels that can cost as low as $34.95 per acre. Even if you purchase this gift as a gag gift or just a unique present to try and be cute and thoughtful, there is the percent chance that 3 or 4 generations from now when human beings start to colonize the moon and technology advances to allow for “lunar vacations” this parcel will be yours and your future generations may have wished their ancestors had the foresight to purchase a few parcels to make their lives easier.
Even if nothing comes from it, how many people out there could say that they own a piece of the moon? It is a unique gift and as someone who loves to purchase and say something with unique gifts, this would be my cup of tea. Why not, I already bought a star and named it after my wife. I named the star “Goddess Shona, Mother of Mason” after she gave birth to our first born son.
So check out Lunar International and see if you want to own a piece of the moon.

I agree with you 100%. Buying someone a “piece of the moon” is both unique and romantic. I too was looking for a unique gift for my wife for our anniversary and I opted for Moon Property over the Star gift.
With Moon property, I felt you personalize it more by selecting a lot with a name that suits your particular reason for buying it. For Example, I choose the Bay of Love for the annivarsy gift.
The one difference for me was that I bought my wifes gift from a company called Lunar Properties. There were several differences between Lunar Properties and Lunar International that led me to choose the this company, most notably price. Lunar Properties offers 2.47 acre (1 hectare) lots standard, for just $29.99. They do NOT tack on extra charges for US shipping and they let me choose the location from a list of 14 sites they offer.
It just seemed like a better deal, with all 14 lots offered at the same price, larger in size, free shipping and for less than all the other companies out there.
Check it out for yourself at http://www.lunarproperties.com.

Thanks for the comment, I chose the star purchase because I liked the whole coordinated and stargazing thing. Next time I might purchase property on the moon, or even now they sell property on Mars.
