Every month I share with my readers what my blogs earn in an effort to show other bloggers what programs work for me and which ones do not. This is used as an informational post to show people that blogging will not make you rich and if I add up all my hours blogging I earn just under two dollars per hour if I were to calculate blogging as an hourly position.
November was a slightly better than average month for my blogging, I usually average about $250 in a given month, but my highest month was September with over $500 in earnings. Once again SocialSpark comes in as my top earning platform for the month.
PayU2Blog continues to be the only way I am able to monetize my personal blog, but it does bring in a small but steady supply by its own. I was not able to monetize my poetry blog at all this month (other than its share of the AdSense earnings).
I did manage to snag an opp from SponsoredReviews this month, and it was the first month in a few that BlogsVertise had an assignment for me.
I was able to work directly with a company and collect some revenue for advertising and promoting their product without any 3rd party site as well which is nice.
This was the first month I was really able to test and use IZEA Sponzai which is where you get paid for hosting guest posts. I accepted 3 guest posts and the total payout was $17.25 for the 3 guest posts.
SponsoredTweets is what shown for me this month, earning almost $25 in sponsoredtweets was the largest month so far for the service. I am also up to ten referrals and almost $3 of that earnings was from referal commissions.
Finally AdSense continues to bring in my average $25 – $30 per month with a $27.13 earning. I am still seeking ways to increase and improve my AdSense earnings, and will put more time and investment there.
Lastly, I had tried a new ad program called Chitika and started it mid month. This displays ads only to users who arrive on your blog via a search engine query, so they are not obtrusive to users who visit your blog from twitter or directly from bookmarks. My Associated Content performance payout was just under $3.00 which isn’t bad considering I only publish an occasional haiku or reposted blog article on there once a week or so.
This was my full earnings report for November, I am always looking for ways to improve and earn more, but I am also pretty picky when choosing paid opps. I reject 80% of the opps I could take on PayPerPost, SponsoredReviews, Sponzai and others.

I have applied for PayU2Blog some time ago and for some reason never got any feedback from them. I do realize that they have some requirements, but I was wondering if their programs is restricted to US users only. Any thoughts?
So it seems that the IZEA family is giving you plenty of opps:)

I don’t know if PayU2Blog is US only. They won’t provide feedback if blog is rejected, I know they don’t accept blogspot blogs.

Thanks for sharing the stats. It helps to know that there are people actually making money blogging.
It’s a shame you didn’t have another month like September.

I’m glad Social Spark works out for you, it didn’t for me
Chititka I also tried out a little bit cause I have quite a good portion of my traffic coming from search engines, but it didn’t really pay enough to be worth showing it to all my search engine readers. I’ll be sure to follow your progress though, maybe you will learn something I didn’t.
