Everyone talks about Season 1 as being the best. That’s because season 1 had two things this season does not have: 1. A new enemy/threat 2. An unknown avenue to resolution.

Sylar should have been killed off last season, or the season before, or heck, at the end of season 1 would have worked. Now we’ve got the same old villian, and the same people are going to fight the same battles over again. Plus pile on a steaming pile of “psychological damage” because apparently our heroes are “real people too”. It’s the stuff of daytime TV.

The Sylar/Parkman interaction has been good so far. The carnival seems week, and as soon as the real Sylar finds them, they’re all goners; they’ll never make it to the end of the season.

It feels like the show has been canceled already. Like the writers know this is the end, so they’re “doing what they always wanted to do”, sort of like the last hurrah.

In summary: The show needs a good villian, not Sylar (and the carnies don’t stand a chance). Lose the “heroes burden” bull, daytime TV pulls amateur crap like that. People like optimism, and pursuit of better things (doesn’t get any better than saving the world, but that’s been done), and complicated decisions (everyone remember ‘future’ Peter, and ‘future’ Hiro from Season 2?).

Heroes needs to end! I forced myself to watch it since I have been keeping up with it since it started and it has fallen HARD.

Bring back the DONNELLYS!!

I know the show lacks the 1st Season Magic, but still has some interesting plot twists and looks to be some good character development.

Ive noticed a lot of people (my friends) being more dissatisfied with teh current series…Im still a big fan and have been since day 1 but I think if the writers dont start to make some changes the popularity could drop big time…
