Dragon Blogger Review Of Seven Pounds
I am going to give my review of this movie without any spoilers which is kind of hard. First off I agree with other critics that Will Smith gives his best performance since The Pursuit Of Happiness his character Ben Thomas is a deeply wounded man and he portrays the emotional depth and spectrum very well.
The movie starts out leaving you wondering what’s going on and where its headed and gets better as the film goes on. We at first don’t know why his character is tracking people and what he is actually going to do for them. But we learn early on at a glimpse of the near future that his character is deeply troubled and attempting to make up for something that has happened in his life.
When his character meets Emily Posa played by Rosario Dawson we see his commitment and conviction to his plan start to waver a bit. As his relationship changes with her the more he spends time with her and gets to know who she is.
In the end the movie left me feeling like I had witnessed something touching and I was very sad. I will say one thing, if anyone has one thing to take away from this movie it should be never use your blackberry while you are driving.
I would give this movie 4 out of 5 stars.

PS. I would give a more thorough review but don’t want to spoil the surprises and events in this film. It is a tear jerker and good flick to see as a couple.
