Dragon Blogger’s Windows Vista is performing better
My 1GB Kingston Ram Stick arrived in the mail yesterday and I installed it last night and decided to give my system a test drive. First of all my speed and performance is about 60% improved with 2GB of RAM vs my 1GB of RAM. Remember Vista consumes about 900MB of RAM by itself choking system resources and leaving every other application paging swap in and out for free memory which is horrible on your disk drive and system.
2GB of RAM made a difference, now I can have multiple browsers open and 5-10 tabs open and every tab loads web content faster, my applications are more responsive, closing applications is faster and my applications don’t hang or crash nearly as often. Amazing what an extra 1 GB of RAM will do.
So anyone running Windows VISTA if you only have 1GB of RAM, upgrade to 2GB and you will get a noticeable boost in speed and performance.

PS. If you buy any Computer Parts, I highly recommend NewEgg.com I have solely bought from NewEgg the past several years. Not only do they ship very fast, you get the product in 3 days at no extra fee, but the prices are very very low. In addition they always send you a Return Postage, so if the product is defective, you just slap on the sticker and return it. All this at no extra charge.
