After having a PR0 since September 2008, DragonBlogger.com finally gains a PR2 after Monday’s pagerank update this week. I am actually pretty glad since my site was dinged for doing paid posts for a while, my personal blog JustinGermino.com still has a PR0, but my Poetry blog WandererThoughts was moved from a PR2 to a PR3 this week as well, which is another great gain.
I saw an almost immediate barrage of emails from SocialSpark claiming I qualified for new opportunities this morning, about 20 of them, so I know this was from the pagerank update reflecting in SocialSpark, I weeded through and didn’t find any pressing that I felt like taking at this time. I am pretty choosy about which posts I take and try to maintain integrity on the type of sponsored posts that I promote, which is something more bloggers should practice.

I recently moved my blog from Blogger where I had a PR3 to WordPress on my own domain..so I’m back to PR0. I didn’t realize it took that long to get page ranks. Good to know. I’ll have to just keep at it!

It depends, Google updates PR 4x per year on average, and if you get your blog in 1 month before the PR update, you can get a PR2 early, I started my DragonBlogger.com on August 23rd 2008, and had a PR2 for it in September/October 2008, but was stripped back to a PR0 in the December update and remained until today.

That’s great news, it’s so gratifying when your blog gains it deserved PR, keep up what your doing now and hopefully you’ll get another increase on the next Google PR update

This is very much temporary, Damien Riley had his blog be given a PR3 and was slapped down to a PR0 the following update, Google is very inconsistent, so I know it could vanish in smoke after next update.
