Embed Picasa Slideshow On WordPress Blog
I finally found a way to embed a Google Picasa Web Album slideshow inside a blog post, there was no wordpress plug-in that would do it automatically, but if you go to the Google Picasa WebAlbums site, and click on “Link to this Album” then you will see an “Embed Slideshow” option. Selecting this and you can choose the width of your slideshow and whether it is automatic, include captions…etc.
Here are the exact steps:
- On the My Photos page, click your album.
- Click Link to this album on the right-hand side.
- Click Embed Slideshow.
- Choose your slideshow settings, such as image size, captions, and autoplay.
- Once you’ve chosen your settings, copy the resulting HTML code (Ctrl-C).
- Paste the HTML in the source code for your site (Ctrl-V).
Here is a recent photo album of when I went to the Phoenix Zoo on Monday March 16th:

Thank you for sharing. This is great!
Would you know a way to place a watermark on the pictures that would not be too difficult? Or too Pricey?
I got a couple thousand pics I've taken with the idea of posting them on the web, I've been watermarking a few with Gimp2 but I've lost the recipe or Gimp2 was updated, I don't know, I cant watermark the way I did before. Why not? It's a mistery.
You've got a nice album up there,
Cheers,
Mario
