Favorite Mel Brooks Movies

This is an tribute to all Mel Brooks fans out there. Â I have been a longtime fan of just about every movie that Mel Brooks produces and directs and some of the classics are still some of the most fun movies in memory. Â Blazing Saddles, Spaceballs, History of the World, Young Frankenstein are just some of the memorable classics. Â Some of the more modern ones weren’t as drop dead funny but I enjoyed the ironic satire in Life Stinks and Robin Hood: Â Men in Tights as well.

So in an effort to promote some fun and jog some memories here are some of my favorite quotes from Mel Brooks comedy movies:

I saw Blazing Saddles a couple of weeks ago. It's still a nice film for watching although having some flaws. I saw where some of the "tricks" Mel Brooks used in his subsequent movies came from. And I even wrote a short review about the movie. :)

I will try to find Blazing Saddles and see it soon then. It's possible I've been missing Mel Brook's greatest movie for years. :)

I think I've watched Spaceballs, History of the World, Young Frankenstein and Men in Tights. Probably I liked History of the World and Young Frankenstein more than the others. I remember the first time I watched History I thought it was very funny. I watched it again several months ago and this time I didn't find it so funny but mayne it was just not something new for me anymore or maybe I've just grown older... :) Still, Mel's are good movies.
