Some if my favorite photos taken with Canon Digital Rebel XT
Posted by: dragonblogger // Category: PhotographySo I saw an spark opportunity on socialspark that I have taken with my old blog “Wanderer Thoughts” but decided to take again with my new blog. This opportunity is to post some of my favorite photo’s, so I decided to post some of my earliest photo’s taken with my Canon Digital Rebel XT Camera. I was just learning to use the various modes and macro settings, and I am really pleased with these 2 flower shots which are two of my favorite.
I love how the camera lens captures the flower petals with such clarity they almost look like velvet that you can reach out and touch. I have always wanted to buy a telephoto lens for my Digital Rebel XT, but never could scrape up the amount of money it takes for some really fine telephoto lenses. So I am using my default lens that came with the camera, but it does a fine job.
So here are two of my favorite photo’s, it is the texture and vibrant colors that stand out so greatly to me. These are pictures of two plants in our yard, one is a rose bush and the other purple flower I can’t even remember what it is:

The best camera’s are the ones which shine in low light (indoor) and the rebel xsi’s sensor gives it the ability to outperform anything else in this price range…

Thank you, I do it for fun. Mostly take pictures of insects, plants and animals (besides my kids of course)

The shots are great!! If you are looking to continue with close up shots, consider a 60mm macro lens….or a 50mm f1.8 prime lens. I’ve used both, and love the look of the pictures! Very selective focus…keeps the viewers eyes where you want them! Keep up the good work!
