Time to share my blog earnings with my fellow bloggers again.  I share my earnings and the sites that work for me in an effort to show other bloggers that there are concrete ways to make some money blogging, though it isn’t a lot at first and it takes alot of devotion, effort and patience.

I have been blogging for about 6 months now and last month was my best month for profit so far, I totaled $224.23 from all my revenue sources.

earnings February Blog Earnings

From my spreadsheet you can see that PayU2Blog still reigns as my income leader with $97.50 for the month, my winning the February Best Blog of 2009 won me $72 USD in a contest for my personal blog so I counted that as income, even though it was winning a blog contest. Anything related to blogging counts as far as I am concerned, since I promoted my entry and collected enough votes to win.

SocialSpark still does pretty well by me, but I am down to only 2-3 posts per month, new posts are fewer and farther between. PayPerPost has so many low offer posts, that I don’t accept anything less than $5 anymore, and I won’t accept posts that are too outside of my blog category. I did add BlogToProfit as a new source for March, and I will be reporting on my March earnings soon.

There are people who make much more money on PayPerPost if you are willing to do every paid post you qualify for, but I wasn’t willing to just do any $2 and $3 available opp, and I was much choosier than some bloggers. Occasionally there are some great content match opportunities, and sometimes not. I find many of their paid content is targeted for women, singles…etc last month so was little I felt like applying for.

I hope my blogging friends out there continue to grow and become successful at monetize your blogs, and as always if you are willing to share what works for you, let me know. I haven’t tried everything, and different things work for different people. I have played around with Neverblue, CommisionJunction, Amazon Affiliate…etc They just don’t seem to generate any follow through purchases and leave me hanging.

I should note that I spent about 12 hours per week on my blog, this equates to about 48 hours per month working on my blog,
