Finding A Picasa Web Album Plug-In For WordPress

I have been searching for hours for an easy to use plug-in for wordpress that will you display a single Picasa web album in a type of slideshow on your blog. I tried KB Easy Picasa, Shashin, embedded slideshow, among several others and nothing I try works. At one point some of them just claim to input a link to the web album, but when I do this all I see is nothing in return (not even the link posted).

Some trouble tips mention that some web hosting companies prevent contacting external sites, but if this were the case then my youtube plug-in which analyzes by URL and extracts and embeds the video wouldn’t work. So I am left baffled and wondering if I should use Picasa Web Albums at all anymore?

I really like using Picasa, and it syncs so easily with web albums, but I am wondering if my readers can tell me the easiest way to automatically create a slideshow of a web album inside a blog post (I don’t want a widget for the side of your blog). Does using Flickr, or one of the other photo gallery sites work better?

I used to use Picasa Image Express for my travel blog, it works exactly the way I wanted, except you can't add pics from private albums.

I've been looking ofr exactly the same thing, and I think I found it: kpicasa

You call it in either a post or a page with the following string: KPICASA_GALLERY (nameofalbum)

You may even display private albums by adding the auth-code from the gallery's url, then it would look smth like this:

KPICASA_GALLERY (nameofalbum#authcode)

I really like the plugin Picasna. You can see it at http://www.bottledworld.com/category/picture-galle...

So far it has worked really well.

Nice plug-in, but the fact that it takes over the whole page to view the photo's I find to be too intrusive, I would rather embed the slideshow inside the blog.
