Finding Time To Comment
I must admit I am one of those extremely busy people who receives far more comments than I payback to all the people who comment on my blogs, at some point you reach where you can’t find the time to reciprocate comments as much as you would like to. I do however try to find time to comment on at least three to five blogs and articles per day, stuff that I actually read and can add a valuable comment instead of something useless like “nice post”.
Commenting is a powerful tool for bloggers to get their name out there, the more comments you leave on variety of sites the more presence you have in the internet community, by using various comment tracking sites and leaving your handle/URL and message you are leaving little digital footprints of your online identity. You may just get the occasional click to your website should you leave a meaningful comment that leaves an impression with a reader.
But also there are many blogs that list their top commenters in a sidebar which can give you even more added visibility. Most importantly though, comments are an ‘atta boy to the blogger and let them know that they either touched a nerve with you, or you enjoyed reading their articles. Bloggers especially want to know what their readers think of their material, valuable comments can shape a bloggers topics, articles and even their writing style.
So know when you provide valuable comments, you are actually helping make the blogger a better blogger in some cases.
Feel free to leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

I enjoy getting comments and try to visit on comment back on blogs of those who leave comments but don't always do it. I usually respond to the comments though.
