Properly Formatting Twitter Replies

Confusing but i think i understand it.

So that is why my latter mentions do not reply because they probably did not see the tweet. Thanks for sharing, really helpful! :)

This makes perfect sense, no wonder some multiple replies I send seem to get buried under a ton of tweets. And by the time it gets noticed it it would be somewhat irrelevant or outdated.

So if we are replying to one person, then we can use @ Reply in he beginning?
But the problem will occur when replying to more than one person. Got it. From now on I will add some words before the @ reply. I guess this is not known to many of us. Thanks for this very useful information.

Ouch! Wish I had read this post before I alerted the contributors to my SEO Post. Who knows how many retweets and visits a properly formatted twiiter reply to them would have generated.

So many tweet replies i made is a waste then, because i'm used to use @ per person when i mention some name in my tweet. Now, i know my mistake. Thanks for the simple but useful information.

It seems now I am understanding and trying to get involved with Twitter slowly. Great tips, nowhere again will I start a tweet with @replies in the front. Thanks Justin

I hope there won't be a new class required in school in the future where they teach twitter codes only, i.e. "@mike ty 4 att #dog #seminar ;)"

Hi Justin, I think I understand what's happening but I'm not sure I understand why. If I monitor my mentions in HootSuite, I should see them no matter where they appear in the tweet. If not, then I think it's something HootSuite should work on. But correct me if I'm wrong because you only mention Tweetdeck here in this post.

That is correct it would be better if they included it in everything. I never really thought about it. But I am not the biggest fan of Twitter, quite the distraction when I have so many already. It has turned into a necessary evil.
