I logged into my Google Analytics recently and noticed the home page now has a default column for % changes which compares your previous months web sites with your current month all summarized at your fingertips. This is an extremely welcome touch as it allows me to see my monthly growth overview without having to delve into each individual site listed and playing with dates and options.
You can also quickly do weekly, yearly or daily comparisons as well. In addition you can get quick summary of either unique visits, bounce rate, average time on site or completed goals.
So here is the statistics comparing my four sites between September 12th – October 12th versus October 13th – November 12th.
If you look at my statistics the are broken out as follows for unique visits:
DragonBlogger.com is up 61.37% over the previous month
RockAlongProductions.com is up 41.17% over the previous month
WandererThoughts.com is up 229.78% over the previous month
JustinGermino.com is up a whopping 591.29% over the previous month
Twitter is one of the main reasons for my huge spike in my personal diary site, as well as the fact that I drop more entrecard credits for that site now than I did in september. Either way it is good to see all four of my blogs are growing very rapidly in viewership and unique visitors, as long as my growth is in the double or triple digits my sites are expanding to my satisfaction. I will be adding this new monthly metric to track as I want a minimum a certain growth on all my blogs to show that they are expanding.
Thanks to everyone who visits my sites and finds my content worth reading, I enjoy hearing from all of you.
