Arthur was still disabled by The Haitian when Sylar stopped the bullet and held him. If Arthur had not been still muted by the Haitian I don't think Sylar would have had a chance. Secondly the future keeps changing, you don't want it to take place, so the showdown you see at level 5, won't actually take place, nor will the future where Ando kills Hiro, any more than the future took place with the bomb going off in Season 1.They can show futures and then not have them happen, it is what makes altering the future a reality. Sylar is cruel and now enjoys killing for the pleasure, he killed Elle not for her power, but because she lied to him about Arthur and knew the truth and didn't say anything. The confusing part for me is that Sylar says that he can't change, but he does. He used to kill people for a purpose, usually to acquire a new ability. Killing Elle makes no sense at all. He already had Elle's power and the two of them seemed to make a good team (albeit for evil).Aside from Sylar's change of heart, I have to admit, I'm not liking the way this season is shaping up.In the latest episode, Hiro gets the light, just in time for Arthur Patrelli to take it from him. I find it annoying that the writers continue to portray him as inept in nearly anything. How can he effortlessly stop Sylar from taking Claire, yet be powerless against Arthur.
