I am not in Canada. Unless somebody blasted Ohio out of the US and forgot 2 tell me, which is actually quite the possibility :D XO

Anything would be better than my current archaic setup. Hoping to get something with a decent amt of RAM and whatever other memory, so it can handle music downloads and surfing.....need speed 4 research. A laptop would be nice, then I could go out on "the road" with my husband and still work. Would be splendid to win!! Good luck to all of us!! :D

I'll probably get an HP Pavilion 12" laptop. Samll enough to carry around but big enough not to strain my eyes! Best of both worlds!

I would use my gift card towards the HP Mini 110 due to the extra portability it has. ;)

HP mini netbook 1000 that I want to get caused my old laptop is not functioning well and way too big to carry back to evening school after work.

There are ton of stuff that I could get. It would be more of a family decision though...I love the laptop carrying cases they offer and the digital frames though.

If I won, I'd put the $100 toward the Compaq Presario CQ60Z series laptop. I only own a desktop now (a Compaq Presario PC) and I happen to be the only soul in my family without a laptop. This summer, despite having a wireless network, I was saddled to my desktop in the house instead of being able to enjoy the weather outside with a laptop in the backyard.
I love how HP walks you through every aspect of designing your laptop for purchase so I know I can customize it the way I want it.

I'm looking at the 20" flat panel monitor (whether or not I win the contest, actually). Would help conserve a bit of space in the cramped office....

Great contest. I'm right there with you on the machine. I'd have a very similar request if I hadn't just picked up a Quad 2.83 machine with 12MB L2 and 8GB of DDR3. The 512 DDR3 GeForce is a little light, as is the 1TB solo HD...but what's really missing is a monitor.

If I won, I'd definitely be looking at putting it towards a replacement for my old 22" Widescreen. That HP 2709m 27″ monitor? It looks pretty darn good to me!

There would be no better time to win a gift card than now. Since relocating to a very tiny town in Ky, all shopping is done online or 1.5 hours away. I have also not been able to find work here, so any money spent has been on nessecities. If I won cash it would go to bills or household things. But I really could use a new printer since mine was damaged by water during the trip here from Fl. Since I cant eat it or light my home, I havent replaced it. I have not yet looked at printers as I dont want to tease myself so the exact HP model is unknown to me. But as far as quality and reliability, I think HP is the best.

Oh I forgot to mention a model number. I would definitely go with something in their HP G60t series. It's not too pricey and has more than enough power to get me through my work week. It would be perfect.

I would love to win! I can't invest on a gaming system though. The days of Wolfenstein or Counterstrike are behind me. lol But I would love to get a new laptop. I got one for my wife but I think I need one for myself so that I carry it around where ever I go. And besides... She carries it in a Hello Kitty carry bag... Been drooling over the HP netbooks, but have a reasonably new dell mini9... Could certainly use a second 21" LCD for my main system though.

I was just at the computer store last Monday and drooled for an HP mini notebook! Yeah! I wanted to have a notebook where I go, to the clinic, to the mall, to, uhm, anywhere! But, I guess you'd have to give me more than $100 worth of a gift card, huh?

Okay, I will find a way to add some cash to that gift card. he he he.

You sure have a good taste! Not only having a "command center," but adding the 5.1 surround speakers makes it more of a gamer and a music lover's paradise.

I will be hard pressed to choose which HP product I intend to purchase with a $100 boost to my wallet. I'd like to have a laptop since at home computer is in the living room, so a laptop would look better, but we'll probably need a printer soon to replace the one we have. Present printer was made by another company and I have decided against that product line for the future. Have an HP at work and it suits us just fine.

Well if I won I would pick up a new HP 2009m 20in flat panel to replace my aging 17in flat XEROX panel. I sold HP products for years in retail and for the most part have been happy with the things they make. Still think for prefab desktops you can't beat them right now. Either way look forward to the opportunity to be involved in the contest.
