Hilton Branson Cooking School Weekend
This month you can travel and stay at the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel in Branson, Missouri to participate in the Cooking School Weekend. For just under $400 plus tax you can enjoy the following:
- Welcome Wine tasting reception
- Saturday Cooking Demo done by Chef Nathan who will teach you how to cook and prepare appetizers served the prior evening.
- A four course dinner on Saturday night paired with appropriate wines
- A Sunday cooking demonstration again by Chef Nathan who will teach you how to prepare the previous evening meal.
The entire menu takes on a fall/holiday theme and as there is alcohol served throughout the event only persons of legal drinking age may attend.
Not only do you get to enjoy the Cooking School Weekend, but the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel is within driving distance of Championship golf courses, lakes, museums and over 40 live entertainment theaters, so you can extend your stay and enjoy everything the area has to offer.
So you can visit the Ripley’s Believe It or Not museum, or the Bransons Haunted Adventure Park while you are staying in Branson, Missouri.
I don’t have much talent in the kitchen, but my wife is a chef and we both enjoy dining and eating out together. This is a great experience and getaway for couples to spend some quality time together.

It sounds like a great idea. But I think you should skip the wine tasting completely. You can enjoy this nice getaway without drinking alcohol. Most likely it will be much more fun. One glass of wine could be fine but it can as well lead to excessive drinking. Then you have a big problem.
