Normally I wouldn’t be blogging about contests or posts, but I am writing about this to help my fellow bloggers with advertising and promoting their blogs. Â Entrecard is a must in the blogging community, I have received much of my repeat traffic and was able to do tons of advertising for no money just by leveraging this incredibly useful social networking tool.
Freebie Reporter is doing one of the largest Entrecard contests I have ever seen with over 70,000 Entrecredits in give aways, plus even bigger is 125×125 advertising slots on blogs that run for a month or in some cases 3 months for free. Â These types of prizes alone make it work enterting the contest.
Visit Freebie Reporter for the rules, but basically all you have to do is create a post about the contest and describe which prize you would want. Â You get more entree’s for signing up for their RSS feed and copying their sponsors on your post.
If I could win one of the prizes it would obviously be the grand prize, 30,00 EC’s and 2 125×125 ads that run on two big blogs for a month. Â I wouldn’t mind winning one of the 11 1000 EC prizes though, free EC’s for blogging about a contest is not that bad.
I really would like to advertise my blog in some of the sites that cost 4096 EC’s per day, or 1024 EC’s per day, but alas, the most EC’s I seem to accrue are like 800 or so.
