I Wish I Could Consolidate My Remote Controls

This is how many remote controls I have in just two rooms downstairs in my home:

Though I have no trouble navigating the multitude of remotes, my six year old son is incapable of figuring out how to watch television at all which is completely my fault. He can turn the power button on the television, but if the TV is switched to a different input and the sound is on a different channel he is totally lost.
