Inner8.com An Investors Social Networking Site
I was recently invited to beta test the new Inner 8 website and write a review on it. Honestly I don’t do very much investing manually in the stock markets, all of my investments are either in my 401k, or in mutual funds and 529 accounts. I do follow stocks occasionally and sometimes I wish I had the extra money to invest and play stocks directly.
So when I logged into Inner 8 I noticed immediately the site is very professional looking and the dashboard extremely well laid out and functional. When you first log in it shows you have no active investments, so you can click on “Get Idea’s” and you are presented with 3 stocks that recently traded well .
Here is a screenshot example when you click on Get Idea’s:

What I like most about this site right off the bat is the fact that there is a community to draw from, if you don’t know anything about stocks, or you want to know about a stocks performance or see who has invested or left feedback about a stock. You can view the comments about stocks made by other users. This alone means you have access to communicate with other people who invest just like yourself, instead of relying on the feedback from a single investor or company that invests for you, you can get recommendations, feedback and information from thousands of people.
People also make predictions about the stocks they invest in and you are shown the accuracy of other members predictions, this allows you to see who is good at predicting the market and who isn’t. I imagine many people will shadow the people who have very high prediction rates and try to match them wherever possible.
When you click on the Tools drop down box, you are presented with a wealth of information. First you can choose a SECTOR, then you can Choose a Stock within that SECTOR.
You can then run tests through the Scenario Explorer, using a slider to determine which sector has a Bearish or Bullish market. You can also show how the scenario runs with or against the stocks you select. Now I was overwhelmed and still am at the sheer amount of information in the site, so I tested the Inner 8′s help pages, and they are very thorough and easy to navigate.
This is one of the most professional and easy to navigate investment sites I have seen, and I have done a few DiTech and ETrade stock trades before a while ago.
If you do any investing at all, or are looking to learn about investing and follow patterns and the market. I highly recommend you setup an account on Inner 8, it is well worth the time and effort.

Good review. Very thorough and informative. I do some manual investing, so this is something I will want to look a bit further into.
