Interviewed by Damien Riley
Damien Riley a blogger who has been in the game over two years and I met on SocialSpark in my first month of blogging interviewed me about How to Make Money Blogging on his personal blog. He had put the interview together so well, considering all I did was just answer a bunch of questions via email and it looks like a high quality interview.
This brings me to another point, blogging is a way to meet other people in your field and network to learn how they are doing things and you can use this to learn and adopt new skills, styles and techniques. Networking with other bloggers is no less important than people in any profession networking with their peers, whether it is IT Techies going to conferences and trade shows, or teachers attending conferences…etc
Networking is an asset and valuable in every field and profession, it promotes the sharing of knowledge and experience. From the doctors go to seminars and conferences to learn the latest medical techniques and information to the musicians who attend local music festivals and events. Virtually every profession involves networking to learn and grow, though some professions do this online and via the internet, while others require face to face time.
I will be attending blog conferences in the future, once time and finances permit as I do think they are useful for bloggers and help promote networking.
