iTweet.net Another Useful Twitter Application With One Flaw

For those of you who like using Twitter from a web interface and don’t want to download a client to your desktop, iTweet.net is the easiest and best interface I have found so far. This web site not only gives you direct access to view your friends tweets, reply only tweets, direct tweets, but also you can set favorites and only see their tweets. You can also see your outgoing direct tweets via the archive link as well as all public tweets.
Next to every tweet message is the ability to @Reply to someone or to *Favorite Them. By clicking on someones name you can see all “tweets” by that specific user and if you click on their Image or Logo the tweet opens up for you to see the persons’ profile with the additional buttons to D direct message the user or See the users Twitter Page.
My only complaint about this application is it is not very good for following people. In order to be able to follow someone you have to click on their name, then click on their image, Then click on their “Twitter Profile” button, then click on “Follow”, then you get a popup you have to dismiss. This is a very annoying 5 step process just to follow somebody.
So I would recommend iTweet.Net for doing posts, reply’s and direct messages, but if you want to amass a list of followers, using Twitter’s main site seems to still be easiest as you can do easy one click follows to anybody from a topic you search for.
