Know the Signs with Heineken Breathalyzer iPhone Application

When going out on the town or socializing in clubs and bars with friends, it is always good to be cautious and know the signs if you may have imbibed too much alcohol and are a risk to yourself and others while driving. Heineken offers a Breathalyzer iPhone application that helps you raise awareness and stop and get one of your friends to pay attention to their alcohol levels. Even though this is a comical / game application, by convincing somebody to run the application and test it, they can raise their awareness level and potentially make the right decision as a result of the application showing their perceived alcohol level.
According to the application information you would Download the Heineken Breathalyzer iPhone app and run the application while you are out somewhere and want to test yours or a friends sobriety. Simply run the app and blow on the iPhone to watch see what character you or your friend turns into. Find out if your character is “The Flirt”, or “The Stumbler”, or worse yet “The Groper”.

So I went to the Heineken site and I’m gathering that it really is just a game/joke. But that would be REALLY cool if they came out with a Breathalyzer app. It could save lives and people money and jail time. They came out with an app for the iPhone where you hook it up to a rifle and the app is a scope…so if they can do that, I don’t see why they can’t do a Breathalyzer one!

Interesting application, but I wonder if it will have much success if the friend is already intoxicated.
