Was in a poetry writing mood today and was thinking of sports cars, wild rides and passion. Put it all together and have a poem that should invoke visions of passion in anyone. Let me know what you think of this one, and if you like my poetry visit my poetry blog at Wanderers Thoughts for more.
My Lady Is A Sports Car
Wild ride who barely slows down
how I love touching her Ferrari parts
smooth silky strands flowing around her face
With her I just love driving any place
With a purr of her engine you are in for a wild night
your face is blinded by her soft head lights
switching gears as she takes the stick shift
moving so fast the world is a blur
Divine music echoes from her lips
as you run the odometer higher than before
her engine revs as if begging for some more
you push full throttle and theres no turning back
Just when you think you are about to crash
the airbags deploy and you land on your back
you awake from the vision of this awesome ride
thankful the pillows have broken your fall
