Did you know that you could use LeapFish to quickly and easy list a websites Compete statistics and even list an estimate value of what the website is worth? It’s very easy, just go to LeapFish.com and type in your site name (eg. http://www.dragonblogger.com) and you will see Compete analytics and an estimated valuation of your website.

Here is a video demonstration of what it looks like and how you can drill down straight to Compete.com from the Leapfish listing. This is an easy way advertisers can get estimated traffic values of websites they are considering advertising on. Now Compete.com is not completely accurate since it doesn’t use a tracking script on your site, but it is close enough that it was within 6% of my actual Google Analytics traffic which is pretty close.

Compete.com is one of the most commonly used websites for advertisers to measure a competitors site to determine where they stand as well as whether or not they consider advertising with a site.  Since most people don’t have access to another sites analytics, Alexa and Compete are the best ways to get some general info on how much traffic a site is getting.  Leapfish makes it easy to search for websites and return results and this is just one of the many reasons why I use LeapFish.
