Do You Have A Lot Of Old Media Sitting Around Your House?

Most of us have converted to 100% MP3 or AAC format and listen to our music on portable MP3 Players, or burn our own custom CD’s. I have dozens of original unused CD’s lying around my house that I already converted to MP3, is there really any reason to keep the CD around if I haven’t played it in over a year?
So I found a site that will let you trade your used cds and get credit for them toward the purchase of new products. Literally your trade offsets the cost of another electronic product lowering its cost, or if you have enough trade you get the product for free.
A CD is worth 1 full credit if in good condition, a damaged CD may be worth 1/2 or 1/4 credit depending on its quality. This site will also accept DVD’s, Games (think of all those PS2 games you might have and not need anymore) and Books.
Lets say you want to get your kids or spouse a Playstation 3 for Christmas, at the time of this writing you could get a 40GB Playstation for free with just 220 Trade Credits, that is 220 CD’s for those who have lots of used CD’s out there. Secondly, if you have an extremely large library, the company sends you time and hassle of typing stuff in. For an extra 3 trade credits they will send you a USB Barcode reader so you can scan in your UPC codes from your CD’s and DVD’s and save you the time of entering them manually. You just have to ship the bar code reader back with the trade items.
If you have lots of media lying around and books that you don’t need anymore abundatrade.com is definitely a site worth checking out, you can use your stuff for discounts on flat screen TV’s, other movies, games, iPOD stuff, Camera’s and much more.

I’m a lot worse. Found Betamax tapes, cassette tapes, VHS tapes, VCDs while decluttering the past few weeks. I’ve given them to a recycling drive.
