Military Rescue Robot

When I saw the video for the Vecna BEAR Robot, I just had to post about it on my blog. The Battlefield Extraction-Assist Robot (BEAR) is designed for search and rescue operations, whether it be from the aftermath of a bomb explosion, an earthquake or in collapsed mines. The BEAR robot is a flexible machine that is designed to navigate rough terrain and can carry a human being over long distances. It can move rubble aside and help to unbury someone, and probably will have a permanent future place in military and rescue organizations.
