I have been learning and experimenting with the SocialSpark CPC opportunites since April 2009, I have only accepted 8 CPC programs since April which averages only 3 per month so far. I only take programs which I feel the product fits my blog theme and it is a product I know about and either use or would use myself.
So when Blockbuster decided to use SocialSpark to promote their Total Access, I thought it was a win/win for me since I have been using the service for almost 3 years now. I decided to launch a CPC campaign to promote Blockbuster total access, and in doing so I have sent a total of 10 tweets over 30 days and posted a 125×125 ad on my dragonblogger.com. This netted me 44 valid clicks, 87 invalid clicks, and 10,228 page views of the advertisement.

This yielded me $29.92 for the entire campaign, and while you may think that isn’t much, it took far less work to promote this CPC than even writing a basic 150 word post for $5 or $10. I merely wrote a few tweet’s and queued them in hootsuite or tweetlater to let them trigger every 3 or 4 days.
That plus putting a little ad on my site which took five minutes, means I invested maybe 15 minutes total time to promote and earned almost $30 for 15 minutes of my time. This is a very impressive dollar per hour earning rate, and I am hoping to be as successful if not more so with more CPC opps in the near future.
I encourage other bloggers out there to take a serious look at SocialSpark, as even if you don’t qualify for the paid posts, you might be able to qualify and make some decent earnings from CPC campaigns which you can promote on Twitter or Facebook in most cases, so the larger your social networks, the more you can potentially earn. Just remember to only promote a product you can vouch for or stand up for, your reputation is at stake on what you promote.

SocialSpark works pretty well for me, I have cleared over $250 in earnings over the past 6 months with SocialSpark, and am learning and growing rapidly on it.

That is impressive. My problem with the cpc program so far has been to many unvalid clicks. I still do not understand how so many clicks can be counted as invalid. Do have any insights or tricks on how to increase valid clicks?

I have this problem too, most of my CPC campaigns I run on twitter and have 3:1 invalid to valid click ratio’s in some bad cases. I think the click forensics isn’t as good as it should be, honestly that BlockBuster post would have paid $89 dollars if all clicks were valid. SocialSpark team claims that the bots and stuff that check out links don’t qualify, but I am not sure how many bots are querying twitter links posted. I think it is the length of time visiting a page, I think if a user clicks and then closes out faster than the X # of seconds it may not qualify as a valid click. I do wish it were improved.
