No Need to Buy Console Games With GameFly
About eight months ago I won a gift card for $100 at my company and couldn’t think of the best way to spend it, my wife had told me to try GameFly instead of just buying 2 Wii games, that would give me about 6 months of Wii Game rentals which means I would be able to play and enjoy dozens of games instead of just two.
I enjoyed GameFlyâ„¢ so much that when my gift card expired I renewed the service and keep paying the monthly fee, I have the two at a time plan and primarily use it for Wii games but will include PS3 games when I get my PS3 sometime next year. The plan is so simple and works like Netflix or other rental plans, you simply build your queue of games and they arrive to you in the order you queued them (as long as they are available, or the next one in the list ships).
Here is my current game queue:

The quality of the games is good to fair, out of the 32 game I rented, only 3 had such badly damaged discs that I had to return them for replacements. But this has happened with Netflix and Blockbuster Total Access as well. I was one of those people who would buy one Wii game every three or four months and play it until I beat it, when I beat it I rarely would touch the same game again and would wind up trading three or four of them in for a swap at GameTrade, or even using SwapTree online to trade Wii games with other people.
With the GameFly subscription I am now able to rent kids games for my little ones and all the games I want and not have to worry about how long I can keep it, I have kept Wii Punchout for over 2 months now and still play it. While other games I play for a few hours and if I don’t enjoy the game, I just send it back within a few days or a week.
GameFly is perfect for parents who have children that beat games in hours, you can simply have a 3 or 4 at a time queued list and your kids can get new games every week and beat them almost as fast as they keep on coming. This is ideal and could save you hundreds of dollars if your kids play console games all the time and you actually buy them every few weeks or month. Just have your kid do chores around the house to earn the GameFly subscription and it is an even trade.
I use GameFlyâ„¢ myself and could recommend it more, there is instructions for the games on the site, they sort by recommendations, give reviews, let you queue games not yet release and so much more. The only time I think GameFly wouldn’t be used for a game is if the game came with a physical accessory like Wii Fit with the Balance Board, or Guitar Hero 5 with the Equipment, in those cases you need to purchase the game to get the hardware that comes with it. For all other games that don’t have any physical accessories that are required I highly recommend you use GameFly. Again, I am a 8 month subscriber and wouldn’t purchase another Console Game unless it required an accessory. -Dragon Blogger
