Plan A 2009 Vacation In The Tri-State Area
Growing up in New York I had always wanted to visit Morey’s Piers in New Jersey, it is one of the biggest amusement parks in the Tri-State area and was not a far drive from Queens, NY. I never did get the opportunity to go, but I recently learned there are specials going on for a Jersey Shore beach Vacation.
It is not too early to plan for a 2009 family vacation where you can visit a slew of amusement parks and waterparks all set in a span of six beach blocks. Literally you can spend one day at each park and make a full week vacation out of it. Each Pier has more than 30 rides in all making over a hundred rides including all of the ones in the Water Parks and the Piers combined.
Prices are very reasonable and you can get season passes or a family pack of 4 passes. This special holiday sale for Season passes only runs until January 9th, so if you plan on spending more than a few days at Morey’s Piers you may consider picking up a Season Pass. For companies or retreats they also offer group sales and can accommodate large groups and parties on any of their piers and parks.
In addition to visiting the parks, if you don’t live in a reasonable driving distance you might want to consider looking into the Resorts in Wildwood NJ and the Jersey Shore. Where out of town guests can travel and stay for several days and be either right on the beach, or just a close distance (1 block) to the parks and piers.
Having lived in New York for eighteen years I know there is a real shortage of amusement parks and fun things to do with the kids in the immediate area, Morey’s Piers is among the most fun and looked forward too destinations for kids of all ages as well as adults. If you and your family have never been you owe it to yourself to visit at least once, you will be amazed at the size, scope and variety of rides and activities.
