Published Articles on Associated Content
I have found another medium to increase my earnings from writing a little bit, though not exactly blogging its more like freelance journalism. Associated Content is a website where you can submit articles and depending on whether you are submitting original exclusive content, you can request up front payment, or pay per performance. I had one article offered a $3 up front payment and some of my payperperformance articles are currently earning some pennies and nickels but nothing spectacular.
The good news is much of the content I can write for Associated Content does not need to be exclusive, I can reuse blog posts and articles from other sources leveraging the same material a little bit (not too often) and get more bang for the buck. Associated Content is just another avenue for writers to get their stuff out there and they accept any form of literature including poetry.
You can even submit audio files, music, readings, teachings…etc, or video tutorials as well. It is recommended that if you enjoy writing and want to get your work publicized or even make a few dimes from some of your articles (as opposed to writing stuff for free on your blog) it is worth having an account and a few articles submitted to Associated Content.
They will also auto post your article on Twitter and Facebook when you publish an article to help spread the word and get traffic to your article. I have been using it for about a month now, and my total take is about $3.22 cents, but this is more than some of the blog earning methods I have tried.
Helium is another journalist type site but is much more specific, you can’t just write whatever you want and submit it. You have to write specifically for the topics or article titles that need content. I am also part of Helium but haven’t written enough paid content to start making earnings, I will report my findings after working on it some more.
I also know HubPages allows you to submit content and gives you some of the Adsense earned from your article back to your Adsense account. I don’t know how many of you use Hubpages, but I have submitted a few articles there as well.
