More Ranting about Google PageRank Loss

I have been reading many other blogs who have reported the same google ranking loss, and it seems that one thing that is apparent. Â Google clearly penalizes blogs who try to do some paid posts for money. Â I did do about 10 paid posts over the past two weeks, and even though I have over 120+ posts and less than 10% are paid content, the paid links are what everyone has said kills your pagerank.

Makes it hard to figure how to monetize your blog when many paid opps require a PR of 3, 4 or 5+ and yet to do paid opps you lose your PR. Â Kind of like a double edged sword in my opinion.

So I am stuck just doing my promotion and networking as usual, my paid opp’s have dried up at this point. Â Gonna be real hard to make some extra money this month it would seem. Â However, I am not going to be discouraged, I enjoy blogging and would do it even if there was no way to make money at it. Â I am hooked now and doing it for the enjoyment of doing it, and meeting new people along the way.

Can somebody explain what is paid post for money?I heard this term very first time and now I am exciting to know about it.

My PR fell to 0 and I don't do paid posts. Maybe the peeps at Google were pissed because I was seeing new movies before them, I don't know.

I lost my PR back in October and have continued about my normal business. Some months are definitely better than others, but that doesn't mean I'm giving up either. Paid posts for me are extra money, so whatever I earn is bonus. Seems that Google only likes blogs that only utilize Google ad services. Of course, that's just my opinion.
You've got a very interesting blog, so I hope you don't let Google discourage you.

That is like a PayU2Blog or PayPerPost assignment. Where you get paid to post a review with links to a company site. You usually get between $5 to $6.50 per blog post for such opportunities or assignments.
