Yet Another Resource for Combating Acne
I have done a previous post for another acne treatment and research company’s website, but when another one came in I decided to just write about it. For people looking for acne skin treatment the web site offers a fair amount of information about acne, oils, skin conditions and other information. It also has reviews of many of the most common and popular treatments, but the site very heavily plugs five specific acne products. Zyporex, Orovo ACNE, Acneticin, Oxycerin and Asso Gold Cleansing Bar. All of these products range in the $20 – $45 dollar range which is on the moderate to high priced side for medications, but probably no more so then say “Proactiv” which is very popular and I see infomercials all the time for them.
I don’t know if any of the products work, as I have not purchased any of them. However their web site is clean, easily laid out and there is useful information. I found it funny that the website claims to have an “Acne” blog, but there are only two posts in it and the last post was from July 14th 2008, they probably could be more creative with this blog if they want to be more serious about bringing visitors to see what’s new with acne research and news.
I do suffer from some adult acne, it is hereditary for the most part, my skin does get very oily and I have to wash my face often. Something I will share with my readers is that most acne, if you get it around the mouth and chin is caused by a food allergy. If you get acne on your cheek, forehead, neck then it is most likely caused by hormones, clogged pores or some other method. But you can always spot the signs of a food allergy related acne, as it will always be within 24 – 48 hours after you consume something your body doesn’t agree with and it will always be right around the outer edge of your lips, or chin. I found that I am allergic to many sugars, and foods in high acidic content (tomato) sauce will aggravate my acne condition.
Some Acne Medications work better than others, but also balancing your diet is another very helpful tool.

I too am allergic to tomato products. It seeams that for each person there may be a lot of different triggers, so it get confusing on what may be causing the acne. I like your test for food allergies it makes a lot of sense to try and figure out what is caused by food and what may be another cause. Good ideas, thanks for sharing
