SocialSpark Allows You To Earn Money With Twitter
I finally signed up for my first SocialSpark CPC campaign last week and decided to give it a go, it was a product I was happy promoting since I am very much interested in seeing the new Star Trek movie and was tweeting and talking about it anyway why not get a little change for saying some of my information about it.
Its simple you browse the various CPC campaigns on SocialSpark and they have a “Get Code” button, some of them allow you to post a tweet with a tinyURL on twitter, always prepend a tweet with #spon if it is a sponsored tweet. Anyone who clicks on the tweet and stays active on the link long enough to be declared a valid click and you will earn money.
So how much did I earn?
Well I did about 4 tweets to tell people about the new Star Trek movie, I sent 1 tweet about it every two days or so. From those 4 tweets which took about 15 seconds of my time, so total about 1 minute to write and send all 4 tweets I earned $3.25 cents, 13 cents I earned from the 1 click of the Star Trek badge on my website, even though it had 7,379 impressions in one week, that only translated into 1 click.
Yet on twitter, 1 tweet to my 1100 followers yielded me 89 clicks, 25 of them wound up being valid, and 64 were declared invalid as someone probably clicked and closed out or didn’t really follow through. Based on this ratio, I had 20 clicks per 1000 followers, I might have earned $32Â had I 10,000 followers, and $300 if I had 100,000 followers based on this logic of 2% of my followers actually clicking on my link. All from sending 1 tweet every two days or so.
I am certainly against spamming your friends and followers, but if you find a product or offering that is something you would likely promote or talk about anyway, there is no harm in having the occasional sponsored post to help bring in your earnings. And SocialSpark is vastly superior to MagPie in this category by allowing you full control over what you promote and when you want to promote it.
By leveraging Twitter, Facebook, Badges you can tie in sponsorships to various advertising methods to maximize your earnings all for very little actual work. This is where I think CPC will earn far more as a link in a tweet than from being a badge on your website and SocialSpark is a great way to take it for a test run.
