Thanks for sharing your thoughts, a tip though is you should always leave true blog url and not a bit.ly link. The 301 redirect loses some PR value crossing the Bit.ly redirect and you don’t get as much link back juice. It also hides the URL and looks deceitful, I know I had to check the link to make sure it lead to a good site.
