How to Stand Out in the Blogosphere

Blogosphere is flooded with millions of blogs and number of blogs are increasing day-by-day. Its very difficult for visitor or reader to remember your blog in such a huge blogosphere. But if your blog have some specail qualities which are given below then your blog will be popular within no time. Its not possible for your blog to have all these qualities any one of the quality can be useful.

Uniqueness: Be unique means every thing related to your blog such as your blog theme, articles, writing skill, presentation of post must be different from other blogs because when someone visits your blog the visitor will remember your blog again if your blog have some thing different in it. Write some thing exclusive that can be a specality of yours.

Intro yourself: It means that you must create a About Me/Us page for your blog and write a very attractive and well written Introduction about yourself I will tell you why. Most of the visitors are eager to know about yourself and the second thing they do after visiting your blog is they click on About Me page.

Creativeness: Creativeness is the concept which you must develop yourself its a must for making your blog outstanding. I will give you an example of it like giving Prize for top commetors, prize for best guest blogger if you accept guest blog and many more. Prizes must be in monetory or nonmonetory term its upon you.

Activeness: Always keep visiting and reading blogs in your niche and be first to comment on them because to get some thing you must spend some thing. Try to make some personal relation with some bloggers. If you visit and comment on others blog they will do the same for you in return. Keep posting frequently.

Support: Support means that helping other bloggers or your visitor which will attract them to visit them. Helping may be in term of helping new bloggers to start up a new blog or to promote a blog or giving them a free theme etc.

For me, my way of standing out in a crowd is first I must find my own crowd or make one. I have nothing compared to the expert bloggers but I think that I have something to offer to the neglected crowds. Like they said, there are many ways to skin cat and so I'm using other method which is convenient for myself and useful for my crowd at the same time. Plus of course I'm taking into account those qualities you mentioned.

right points Mahendra. Apart from unique, being personal is very important. Having also our photo in homepage or at least in "About" page and in some posts too, is a must; I belive that our photo should show our face, not a cartoon character or a logo. Our readers will definitely remember our face.

Yep, I agree with this. So many blogs are not personal and don't have "voice." Developing a unique and personal writing voice can be a great way to make your blog stand out. I hate it when people try to be unique and stand out using foul language, though. That seems to be an upcoming trend. For example, I had a client who wanted to link to a certain blog post the other day, and I had to advise her not to do it because even though the blog message was great, I think the foul language would have really offended her client base. So that's one example of a blog that stands out but is losing incoming links and traffic because of an offensive personal style.

This is really saddening. Others also resort to name calling, giving negative comments & criticisms towards other blogs. In the long run, readers really stay away from these types of writers.

The best way to stand out in this crowded blogosphere is to do something unique and authentic.

Try to find what other people are doing and then do something else, something that no one until now has thought of.

But, if you lack all those skills, you can try to interact more then others and offer your support whenever possible, this is sure to make you stand out.

Read it again I didn't mean that. Take your example you might be regular visitor of some blogs but why. because of some qualities like Uniqueness of that blog or any other reason. Its not impossible to have all these qualities in your blog but its difficult
