So in order to celebrate my Tony’s Pizza free coupons I received last weekend I decided to turn my normal NBC Heroes Monday night into a party with a few friends over. I had my friends David, Eric and Sean come over and the lure of providing free pizza and beer was enough to convince them to drive the almost 50 miles each way to my house from theirs. I actually had never tried Tony’s pizza before, I had of course eaten about half a dozen other brands of frozen pizza so was curious on how the pizza would stack up. Meanwhile, the one thing about Tony’s pizza, is that even if I hadn’t used my free coupons they are really inexpensive. The grocery store I shopped it had them two for three dollars, and each pizza is a whole meal for one person. (It is supposed to be more, but they aren’t that big and lets face it, we eat lots of food and I would rather have baked too many pizzas than too few of them.)
We started off by warming up with a few beers upon arrival, overall it still amazes me how much beer three guys can drink, I myself am not much of a beer drinker and only had one bottle, while my friends really got their money’s worth for the drive. None of us had a full appetite just yet so we decided to hang out and start watching Heroes, and would fire up the Tony’s Pizzas about half way through the show.
The NBC Heroes episode was pretty good and we all joked about how Ando swallowed the pills meant for Mohinder and became quickly useless. When Heroes was over we quickly flipped on Men of a Certain age which is one of the best new shows on television and surprisingly realistic to the lives of middle aged men. In fact my friend David used to be just a cross between Terry and Joe from the show when he was single a few years back. I was kind of more like a cross between Owen and Joe with me being the only of my friends still married with a family and holding it all together with my job.
The whole show was about Joe’s first date in twenty years and how it was one disaster after another, my friend David had more than enough jokes and puns to tell about his own disaster dates as we took turns talking during the commercials.

Meanwhile the Pizza only takes 12-15 minutes in the oven which is about 5-8 minutes faster than some other brands, they were done midway through Heroes and each slice was pounded down fast. I was pretty glad that I baked five pizzas between three guys and my wife.
I myself thought the Tony’s Pizza Supreme Pizza was the best of the three types, the flavor of peppers and onions were strong but not overpowering and I scarfed an entire one down myself. My wife and my friends thought the Pepperoni was the best and we did all agree that for frozen pizza, it wasn’t half bad. You really save like $15-$20 by just having four or five Tony’s pizzas instead of ordering from a Pizza restaurant or delivery and you don’t have to wait the 20-30 minutes for delivery.
The pizzas were good, the shows were great and we had a blast with minimal cleaning up. The only bad thing is the night ended early as it was a Monday night and everyone had to work the next morning.

I actually had my first Tony’s pizza about 2 1/2 weeks ago, and I it was pretty good. My only complaint was the taste of the cheese, I thought it was slightly off, but then I’m really picky. As for Heroes I loved it up until season 3 (right around the time of the writers strike actually), but from what some of my friends told me it has gotten better again. Hopefully this is true, if you say it is maybe I’ll take your word for it and get caught back up

Season 4 picked up, and got much more interesting, I enjoyed Season 4 more than the early parts of Season 3.

The good thing about Pizza is you can eat it anytime of the day, including midnight snack!

It looks like you guys had a lot of fun! What’s better than pizza, beer and Heroes? (Not necessarily in that order.) I’ve never had Tony’s pizza either, don’t know why, but I’ll be sure to try it soon! We recently purchased a huge bake-yourself pizza that was crafted by a local store. It looked SO good, but didn’t taste that good at all.

That’s a great, hassle-free way to enjoy time with your buddies. After all, what food is more delicious than pizza? (Sorry, I’m a pizza die-hard!) Anyway, funny you should mention Tony’s Pizza, because my brother-in-law, staunch Italian that he is, also is called Tony. We have enjoyed Tony’s Pizza on many occasions. A little more cheese and we’ll be totally blissful. It is his choice of pizza. The name? The flavor? It’s all good!

OKAY, SO I ACTUALLY ENJOY TONY’S PIZZA ALSO. NOT ONLY BECAUSE IT IS CHEAP BUT BECAUSE IT IS GOOD FOR BEING CHEAP. THEIR METROPOLITAN PIZZA IS GOOD AS IS THERE CINNAMON SWIRL BREAD AND GARLIC STICKS. HOPE THE GIVEAWAY PRIZE IS COOL SINCE IT IS STILL A MYSTERY AND THANKS FOR THE CHANCE.

I haven’t tried Tony’s Pizza but have often wondered if they are any good. I will keep them in mind next time I am in the market for frozen pizza.

Any time we have a quick party where there’s not much planning involved or my daughter has her friends over pizza is the perfect snack. I try to have frozen pizza at the ready for times like this.

Gals also like – no, LOVE – pizza. In fact, it’s weird to have pizza without beer or beer without pizza! Ummmmm, good times!
So Tony’s is pretty good, huh? I buy pizzeria pizza, not frozen, but if I can good pizza for a fraction of the price, I’m there! I’ll try it!

Pizza? Heroes? LOVE!!!
I remember when I used to watch Heroes relentlessly and have TV marathons with friends. It was a great way to bond with friends. Oh, fun fact: when my friend was in elementary school, for her school assignment on poetry, she wrote “Ode to Mushroom Pizza” Haha!

I can’t believe so many people have never tried Tony’s Pizza! It is good. My son’s a pizza fiend, and we have a Pizza Hut, a Papa John’s, and a Little Caesar’s all within easy walking distance. (Papa John’s used to tell me they didn’t deliver to my neighborhood. I’d tell them, “I’ll walk up to the fence behind your back door and you can toss it over.”) But Tony’s is great for keeping on hand, and for feeding someone who LOVES pizza for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Tony’s Pizza is what we eat in our home! When we have our little nieces over, the only pizza they ever want to eat is Tony’s Pepperoni Pizza! Needless to say we have it stocked up for them! LOL We usually warm up two pizza’s, rent a fun family movie (last week we rented ‘Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs’ which was SO perfect with eating Tony’s! They were even play throwing their little slices up in the air- to land on plate- just so they could be like the movie!) Love ya Tony’s and SOOO excited bout your contest! Thanks!

In our house we get together for football & basketball games & if we don’t cook wings we order pizza. We live in a very rura place so only Dominos delivers to us and sometimes it just gets old.

Oh, my, I love pizza! I used to say that if I had to eat only 2 things, it would be pizza and Chinese. I’ve now found that I’m lactose intolerant and can’t handle cheese any more! Cruel, cruel irony! So I’m on the search for a good dairy-free pizza. Anyway, your get-together sounds like fun and reminds me it’s time to call my friends and coordinate one myself. Thanks for the opportunity to win!

I am lactose intolerant too, I can’t have milk at all, but for some reason Cheese doesn’t trigger it as bad (maybe less lactose in cheese).

I just stumbled upon “Men of a Certain Age”; and found it very good. It happens to be on my On Demand with my cable; so I can catch episodes I already missed. Watched 3 so far; and will stick with it.

I love Tony’s pizzas. I prefer my own homemade pizza most of the time, but sometimes, that premade, pizza-substitute stuff is just exactly what I crave. LOL. Don’t laugh. I’m serious.

I’m a big Heroes fan myself but I always end up watching it by myself. I do have Rock Band parties though. And we eat Tony’s pizza when I do.

I’ve never had Tony’s frozen pizza. We usually have a million Tostino’s party pizzas in the freezer for quick, last-minute dinners. I may have to check out Tony’s. Sounds like you had a great time, and I hope your friends made it safely home afterwards.

This time of year we have so many “viewing parties” We all get together to watch American Idol, The Amazing Race and Survivor and of course the Super Bowl. That’s lots of pizza, beer and junky snack foods…so much fun and so many calories…but worth it

I’ve had Tony’s in the past along with trying all assorted others in the frozen pizza section. Not Bad. These days though, nothing beats “made from scratch”. Take the time and you won’t be sorry.

Whenever I buy frozen pizza it HAS to be Tony’s! The crust has a very distinct flavor and even when I manage to burn the edges (just a little bit!) it still tastes good.

There is no better “get together” food than pizza. It brings people together, you don’t need utensils or stuffy pretenses and who doesn’t like pizza?

Our family has a pizza party nearly every Friday night. Pizza seems to be the one food that we all love. Sometimes we order pizza and sometimes we cook a frozen pizza. And, yes, we have tried Tony’s Pizza and really enjoy it!

Pizza, I love pizza! And when it’s easy and convenient, I love it even more. I could never live on a deserted island simply because there would be no pizza. I shudder at the thought….

If we don’t have pizza at least once a week at our house my husband throws a hissy. Too expensive to order delivery, we usually buy two at the grocery store to feed the 4 of us and Tony’s is one of the better pizzas we buy. Believe it or not, I’m not a pizza fan after having worked at a pizza parlor in my teens. I do, however, make an exception for Tony’s..I like the crust and the sauce.

We had a superbowl party with tostino’s and tony’s pizzas. Lots of pizza!! Great superbowl.
So what do I love.. Other than family and my cats -Entering and winning contests but my computer is dying.. I dont know what it is the prize pack but I hope its a best buy card. My graphics card is gone (your pics are black and white with a little red)haha and my audio card bit the dust yesterday!! Pick ME!

Hey all, just had a ladies night out in. Baked up some Tony’s Pizza, Yum! Tried a new drink called “tight pussy”, yeah the name is strange, but it sure was good. Also watched some funny movies. Everyone seemed to have a good time!

Tony’s Pizza is YUMMY! I have definitely had it in the past. We try not to do delivery pizza that much either to save money. We either make our own or it is frozen for us! Thanks for a great (surprise) giveaway!
