One nice feature and one of the many Hootsuite benefits which Tweetdeck does actually have (and do a little better), is the ability to find original twitter reply which is what the original message was when somebody replies to you.  This incredible feature allows you to proper answer someone who replies to you say 12 hours after you tweeted a question or statement and you initially have no idea what the person is talking about.

To leverage this feature you simply look at your “ twitter mentions” column and you will see a little link called “in reply to <user>” at the bottom of the tweet.  It looks like this:

When you click on this, the tweet expands into 2 tweets and you can see the original tweet right under the “reply” you are viewing.  This easily allows you to track simple one time reply conversations on twitter (at least 1 reply back).

Just one of the many reasons why I use Hootsuite 2.0 everyday, I do alternate between Tweetdeck, Hootsuite and Hellotxt as my primary microblogging applications.  These are simply some of the best twitter tools that you can be using right now for twitter.
