Trading Wii Games With Swaptree
I have a few Wii games that I don’t play anymore like Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, I noticed that most game trade shops require you to trade 3 wii games just to get a new one which isn’t very good in my opinion. So I was wondering if there was any way I could get a one for one trade system with people.
I did a search online and found swaptree, with a fast registration I just entered the UPC codes of my games and you get to see a list of what “trades” are available for your game. 88 Wii games were available for trade for my Zelda game, and I decided to trade my Zelda game for Kung Fu Panda. This way I can actually trade both of my Wii games for 2 other Wii games instead of losing out and trading 2 or 3 for one.
You pay a small fee $1.05 in my case for my game, and for a shipping label through swaptree, which is worth it in my opinion. Since you get way more value trading a game and paying a few bucks than getting 1/3 of your games value for store credit.
The site works really nicely too, you build a “Want It” list and you build a “Have It” list, and people contact you with offers for trade. You can trade anything from books, CD’s, DVD’s, Game’s. I even listed my Final Fantasy X2 game and the Final Fantasy X2 Strategy Guide and had over 8,000 potential trades just for the strategy guide.
I was surprised at how easy the site is to use and it is one of the best bartering/trading sites I have ever seen.

The $1.05 "fee" you mentioned isn't actually a fee. Swaptree puts a $1.05 authorization charge on your card to verify you are who you say you are. The "fee/charge" doesn't actually get charged to your card. This allows them to make sure everyone is trustworthy. After using the site for a few months, I've never had a trade go sour.
I agree that Swaptree is the easiest to use and it's awesome getting new games for just the cost of postage!
