Trailer for Tron Legacy

I was a huge Tron fan when it first aired in 1982, I had my first Commodore 64 computer then and was amazed at not only the visuals but the concept and story behind it. (Of course I was only five years old at the time) but this movie has held up well for me over the years. When I got wind today that there is a sequel called Tron: Legacy which is going to be released in 2010, that includes many of the original cast members, I just had to see the trailer and the visuals are stunning.

What do you think, any Tron fans out there?

I just went out and saw that, you still have that C=64 and C=64 XT, or is that an old photo?

I used to play the video game at the bowling alley religiously. I still remember the experience of shooting my way upward into the mcp cone. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tron_(video_game) I'll reserve judgments but it does look good.

Blazing Minds

I've got this trailer on my ipod and it's amazing, I loved the original Tron all those moons ago and what makes this follow on even better is the thought the the film is going to be in 3D, roll on 2010 that's all I can say....

3D films just haven't tickled my fancy until they make 3D without having to wear headsets, the eyestrain I get from the 3D glasses annoys me more than the coolness factor of the film. Plus they dont' have a 3D theater in my city, but I still will enjoy it in 2D, I am sure.
