Training For Information Security
My primary day job is an IT Security Engineer and it is a job I love to do, I am into all things technology and I enjoy keeping up to date with the latest web server technologies and helping to implement and integrate them into my work environments. When I saw the opportunity to write about IT Security related training I thought this was a worthy thing to promote.
EC-Council has live and online instructor led training classes to teach you about information technology so you can either start working in the field or improve and increase your knowledge in the field.
Many of these courses are designed to teach you to become a Certified Ethical Hacker which is someone trained to do various things like Penetration Testing, Computer Forensics, and Code Breaking.
Ethical Hacking is a very important position for virtually every single company with an online presence as you need people who know how to break into systems in order to properly protect against those break ins. You can read all the articles you want about securing your windows box or Unix server, but unless you know the methods and tactics used to gain entry you will not be able to stay one step ahead of the real people trying to get into your systems.
With courses that teach you the following:

- Secure Programming
You can be sure you will be getting relevant information to the industry and you will have a skill set that will only increase in demand in this industry. So as one IT Security engineer I can highly recommend that if you are looking for a job in Information Technology that IT Security is one of the best paying and highly sought after positions in the industry. I have been at my same job for seven years and couldn’t be happier but I also recommend you work toward your cissp certification if you work or want a job in the Information Security industry as well. This certification is highly regarded and valuable for Information Security Architects, IT Managers, Web Security Engineers as well as other IT security related positions.
