UP – Pixar’s New Movie
Leave it to the geniuses at Pixar for coming up with an amazingly original story and translating it to a fully rendered 3D film, Up is a story about a widowed old man who decides to fill his promise to his departed wife to explore the mountains of South America. When developers threaten to move him into an assisted living facility he decides to embark on an adventure by tying balloons to his house. He accidentally takes an eight year old explorer named Russel along with him as well as a dog with a computerized collar that can translate its barks into speech.
This movies story looks like it appeals more toward adults than children, yet has just enough comic touch to reach all audiences.
I have liked every Pixar film that has been released and I just have a feeling we have another winner on our hands.
