The movie trailer already looks like they may be taking a way different twist than the comics. When a movie comes out I try to treat the movie as a separate entity based in the same universe as the book or comic it supposedly mirrors. This way I don't analyze to see what they got right or wrong, but I can enjoy the movie for what it is a Movie similar but not an exact reproduction of the written work. I agree if people can't separate out that, they should see movie first, then read the book.Dreamcatcher was an example of a great Stephen King book that didn't translate into a movie that well. It almost always happens and taking on a classic like this one is going to make the comic fans scrutinize it far more than it should.Still, that's why I'm not reading my copy of it until after the movie. Because as a movie, it looks like it's going to be absolutely amazing.Incidentally, have you read the comic before? Because I highly recommend it.
